I still get mails, that tell me there is new posts in my guestbook – but there are no new messages when I look on my homepage?

When you make a guestbook, we have made it default, so the administrator (you) have to approve new posts. We have done this to stop "annoying" internet users from spamming your guestbook with "unwanted material".

Naturally, this function can be turned off, by pressing the edit button on the inserted element "Guestbook". You will be able to remove the checkmark called "posts must be approved by admin".
