Once logged in to the GoMINIsite, you will be in the administrator part.
In the administrator menu, click the menu item "Advanced".
Here, click "Assign a domain name for your GoMINIsite".
In the next window, click on "I already have a domain".
In the next window, select whether you want to move the domain to our servers, or if you simply want a Tracking (IP address). We have therefore split this FAQ up into 2 parts.
IP address (external)
Do you already have a domain from another provider, and you just want to get it to work with the GoMINIsite, this is the solution for you.
Therefore click on the "IP address (external)".
In the next window, enter only your domain name - eg.: Mywebsite.com.
We have entered www. for you.
Now click "Continue".
You will now return to the "Advanced" page and you can now see a green icon that says "IP" and
www.mywebsite.com.
Have you misspelled, you can correct it by clicking "Edit".
You now need to send information to your domain provider. These informations can be hard to understand, so we have written them for you - click "Send Mail".
In the next window, enter your domain provider e-mail address and click "Send".
Your domain provider will now receive an e-mail and make a "Tracking".
It may take up to 3 days before it works.
GoMINIsite will not bill you for this act - in certain cases the domain provider will bill you for the action.
Move Domain
Do you already have a domain from another provider, but want GoMINIsite to manage your domain, this is the solution for you. This action is also called a "alloy" and costs 99 kroner excl. VAT.
Click on "Transfer Domain".
In the next window, enter only your domain name - eg.: Mywebsite and choose an ending in dropdown menu.
We have entered www. for you.
Now click on "Search".
If the domain you enter is available, we can not move it, because you cannot move something that does not exist.
If the domain is busy you will get the text: mywebsite.net admitted. If this is your domain, click "Continue."
You now come to a payment history. Now click on the button "Order".
Here you must choose which type of card you wish to use.
Fill in the next window (remember to accept payment Terms and conditions) and click "Buy".
There is now activated a "pop-up" window with the credit card payment.
If you have turned pop-up blocking on, this should be turned off temporarily and you can click
"Click here if the payment window does not open".
Verify that the information in the payment window is correct.
Complete credit card information and click "Submit Order".
You can now click on "Show proof" and you will be navigating back to the main window.
The transfer of the domain (alloy) is now underway.
There can go up to 3 days before the domain works, and point to your GoMINIsite.
